Hello. I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Eric Sharum and I have been married to my lovely wife Cae since the fall of 1995.. We have 2 sons, Caleb, who recently graduated from college, and son Joshua and his wife Maggie. They live in Tulsa.
I am a transplant "Okie" but have truly made this my home. I was born in Taylor Michigan and later moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in Iron River. I moved to Oklahoma in 1987 to pursue my radio career. After some changes in the industry, I shifted and created an online High School streaming company called the Oklahoma Sports Network which I enjoy doing in my free time.
I had done some part time preaching around the area for 10 years before taking the full-time position at University. This is a congregation I have been attending since the early 90's and met and married my wife Cae here in 1995 as previously mentioned. I became a deacon and then in October 2009 I was selected to become a elder.
When the ministers job opened up in March 2011, I was asked by the eldership if I would consider filling that position. After prayer and consideration, I accepted the full-time work as minister in January of 2012.
